Where Is Your Resistance? Here’s Mine!

by MichelleVandepas on April 19, 2009

Are you resistant to living your life purpose? What if it isn’t resistance at all, but a timing issue, or something is peculating within. Whatever it is, I’m not writing this week.

Here’s a video post instead.
Blessings.

sounds to me by allowing the feeling of resistance, what needed to happen, happened—in this case—you created a blog.

thanks for sharing–I have some resistance to being powerful….like my fav author Marianne Williamson says “we are more afraid of our LIGHT than our Dark”…the way I am learning to release this unfounded fear is to know, honor, and love myself where I am and as I am.

I found a computer and what’s the first thing I want to do? WRITE. Don’t ask me to speak, that’s my resistance…

Hey, Michelle at Spiritual Soul Life Coach… I have a huge surprise and if you like Marianne Williamson, you are going to love my surprise. It’s true that we are more afraid of our light than our dark. I know because I just invested my weekend delving into my light and integrating some of my light shadows. Keep your eyes open… and you’ll hear the news when I do…

Sometimes with blogging or writing we expect ourselves to be able to produce and write every day. Some have mastered the skill after years of experience or maybe they have trained themselves from their jobs or careers. For me writing is about developing muscle. The more I practice the better I get. The more I allow flow to happen within me the better I get. When flow does stop I’ve learned not to get down on myself.

Relax and enjoy the week and if you feel a lot of resistance maybe take a day or two away from the computer.

@Kevin A DAY OR TWO AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER ARE YOU MAD.

Obviously I need more than a day or two.
@Michelle CK is a light and dark expert. It is fun to watch her embrace both the light and dark in herself and she gets more powerful each day!

I have a resistance to working, physical things. It seems everytime I do get the energy to really get with it, I’m sick. Alergies, the biggest one is dust. I have spent years feeling guilty. I like to write and read, good news tho, yesterday I gave myself a day to write, play in the water and all of this guilt free. It was nice to hear someone else has a resistance and does not fight it. At least for the time being.

Terri
So many things we are resistant to.. I am resistant to laundry. Actually, I get it done, then it sits for days in the basket, until in a mad rush I go to find something clean and pull through the clothes like a crazy women at 7:00 am when I’m in a rush. within a few minutes I’ve got clean clothes all over the floor and I’m late to take my daughter to school. The clothes stay on the floor, and I come home to find my cat has decided that was a nice place to lie down, so now I’ve got a pile of ‘used to be clean clothes’ on the floor full of cat hair, and nothing to wear.
Crazy how we get stuck in our patterns. The key is to laugh about it until we are ready to change.

I resist being around snakes. Snakes have nothing to do with my purpose or goals so I don’t mess with snakes.

I like that Michelle stayed on purpose and created a post for the day. And oh, by the way, video creates more interest. So flowing with spirit AND staying on purpose actually answers the universal prayer of “I ask for this or something better”. Which in this case, it’s something better. Great job Michelle.

AH Brian,
I’ve set up a little studio complete with lights in my home and I have NOT created another video since. I have to just ‘go with it’ for now. Who knows why I am so resistant. but I hope the energy changes fast. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to read more comments here!

Michelle, I suggest tweeting @barefoot_exec . The Free videos are neat. She is all about just shooting it, not concerning yourself with the technical stuff. It becomes more personable. Just like your video here. Get KISS (keep it simple silly). Have a Great one!
