What Does Being Naked In A Sauna Have To Do With Manifesting Your Purpose?
October 16, 2008 by CK Reyes · 18 Comments
I joined Michelle at the Y for a Kundalini Yoga class and a trip to the sauna today. Sweating is something I usually avoid, but I knew it was my next step. We sat in silence; our breath was the only sound playing back and forth between us and another woman sitting on the top shelf. After about fifteen minutes, I rubbed myself down with the towel and turned to leave. The nameless woman struggled to lower herself and refused my assistance and so I quietly left. The door to the sauna opened less than one minute later, and I heard Michelle calmly asking for me by name. I was able to squeeze around the opened door, as I realized this was more of a plea for help.
The floor of the sauna was tiled, wet, and slippery and I could see that Michelle was physically holding this woman up. After making my way around the door, I laid towels down to provide traction for our feet and I helped take some of the weight off of Michelle. This woman (I still don’t know her name) was not able to get her feet under herself and so we slowly lowered her to the ground. She was chanting, “I just overdid it. I just over did it.” She thought she would be alright; she wasn’t convincing me. Read more
If You Don’t Know What You Want Now, You May Not Get What You Want Later.

Knowing what you want is elemental in getting what you want. Wishing is more like fantasy, but knowing can set you on course that makes manifesting your desires easy. Let me give you a formula to empower you to set your goals and go after what you want.
- The first step is to get clear on what you want. Choose one area of your life and let loose. Exactly what do you want? Journal, meditate, and explore. Take about 20 minutes everyday for the next week and give yourself permission to want it all. What does that look like? Who is around you? How are you investing your time?

My Search for Life’s Meaning and Divine Purpose (part 2)

This is the second post in the series chronicling my search for meaning and purpose in my life.
The first post The Early Years search for purpose and meaning starts my journey.
The Foundation for Being an Entrepreneur!
Early on I knew sales would be my ticket to creating the life I wanted. It was a gift that I could nurture. One of my first sales jobs was at my grandmother’s rummage sale. I sold a bird cage to someone who didn’t have a bird, and my grandmother said I was gifted in the art of selling. I think I was nine or ten years old.
My teenage years saw a series of sales jobs. I loved that I could earn more when I sold more, and always went after the commission jobs. I was in control of my income! Then in my twenties I got a job for a computer catalog company.
The industry I was in was on the cutting edge - I was selling disk packs for mainframes via mail order! This was before the personal computer era and you can figure out my age now.
The training served me well. I cold called on the phone before ‘telemarketing’ was a bad name. I upselled, crossed-selled and made a lot of money selling. Soon I became a sales manager for the small department of three, and learned to manage other people.

3 Foundational Steps To Living Your Divine Purpose
January 13, 2008 by CK Reyes · 2 Comments
Whether you are right on track with where you want to be in living your Divine Purpose or you’re not even close, or, even if you are somewhere in the middle where sometimes you feel like you are in the flow and everything is going your way and sometimes you wonder:
What just happened?
1. Know what your purpose is. Knowing your purpose allows for you to focus your energy on what you are creating in the world. Notice that I didn’t say you don’t have a Divine Purpose or that you aren’t living it. You already are! Bring some awareness to what your purpose might be.
2. Get Support! You might think you need to do everything by yourself, but the universe is waiting to support you in your Divine Purpose. All you have to do is ask! There is a ton of support out there for you. Look to friends, family, and professional support–make the commitment to give yourself support so you don’t end up three or five years down the road wanting the same things.
3. Trust! okay, trust and breathe!
Create a foundation. January is Foundation Month at Divine Purpose Unleashed. Visit Michelle Friday mornings at 9am MST on her Unleash radio show.
