Ria, Children can teach us so much. This reminds me of Conversations With God...we are advised to go with our first impulse. When we walk down the street and a homeless cat asks us to spare some change, why do we walk on by? Our first impulse surely is to give, but then we go into lack and how we need our change for something we haven't even thought of yet. Children can teach us because their hearts are open and they haven't been fully indoctrinated into the lack mentality that so many of us experience. To open up abundance in our lives, we could act more like children. Thanks Ria!

I had a similar experience this summer when my 6-year old daughter sold her scooter for $10 to a neighbor. I asked her what she wanted to do with all the money thinking we were definitely going to be going to Target or something. She said, "I want to put it all in the charity jar."

Wow!

Thanks Corinne! I've noticed my daughter has much wisdom, if I'd only listen.

CK - your articles are getting better and better - if that was possible!

Your little pre-teen is watching her mother. And learning from you.

You don't have to say a word. Just be you -

You will survive her teenage years. You must have been quite a handful and your parents somehow coped!

I have a gorgeous 16 year old grandaughter who is an authority on EVERYTHING.

(I HAVE TO ADMIT, SOMETIMES SHE IS RIGHT!)
