Paul, Even when trauma is not involved, many people have the same issues with guilt and shame…acting as an obstacle to authentic expression.

This all may be true on the third dimensional level and having reached the ripe old age of 64, I can only speak from my own experiences having no education in neurobiology.

Some time ago a friend gave me a CD that contained a repeated message about creating new neuropathways. Along with this came the message of abundance and prosperity from the most Divine source. After listening to this for some weeks I could feel a neuropathway actually develop in my brain.

Several years ago a friend ran across a process known as Access. This process addresses thought patterns from the “point of creations” and works quite well in taking the charge out of the emotional issues we were working on. We did not follow up on the second or third part of this process so I can’t relay more activity than what we experienced. However after working with CK in life coaching, and getting to the part where one reaches the point of finding where an interpretation began on any given illusion and realigning it with our Divne Purpose, it feels much more hopeful that old neuropathways may disconnected and new ones replaced. I have to admit this has been a long process for me but in the long run evolution has taken awhile so with awarness and committment, knowing there is a Divine Purpose for us all no matter what we can live our lives as precious beings dedicated to exploring the unending possibilites of this wonderful brain.

CK, Interesting thoughts. I think a tie-in to science is helpful to helping people overcome habits that are set and let them know truly what they are up against. The truth is that discovering your purpose, particularly when you have had a troubled life experience, is challenging. I read somewhere recently that 95% of what we do is automatic and requires no thought. That means that we really have to be intentional and structured when we want to move forward in a different direction than what we are used to.
