Truly incredible and informative information, it is so needed! Through the process of finding my true divine purpose in life, I realized there was so much I was missing because I was not being true to myslef; I was living with an imposter, because the day I looked in mirror, and did not recognize myself, I knew it was time to take massive and drastic action. We become so entrapped in that dark ego mind, we forget there is light. We become so comfortable with what I call our discomfort zones, we believe the illusions. I found myself in a constant place of pain, my pain became my existence. I was living pay-check to pay-check, and running a race to make ends meet, and ending up in same place I began, day after day. I became tired of being tired, and started on a soul search. The process was not be easy, so I advise begin to prepare yourself. There are so many layers of garbage and baggage we walk around with, no wonder most people are unhappy, and sick.

If you live a life without purpose, you are not living life! To honor your life, and live it to it's fullest, you have to find, yourself, ask yourself who are you and why are you here. The joy I have found in finding my Divine Purpose, has been life canging. As a result I have developed a coaching program that helps others seeking for a way out of the darkness, to find and begin to live their divine purpose. We need a global awakening!!!

Great article! I'm a huge fan of "conscious selfishness" ... because in the end, it's really not selfish to take care of ourselves. When we are nurtured, we have so much more to offer others. So I think it is our job to fill ourselves first, so that we are overflowing with all that we have to give to others.

To give to others from emptiness or lack of fulfillment is somewhat inauthentic, because we are not walking our talk. We encourage self-nurture in others, but aren't living the example. Eventually, this results in a huge energy drain.

Thanks!
Blessings,
Andrea

I have noticed that many people walk around feeling guilty about doing for themselves. When people feel this way, they may show up in the world by helping others, putting themselves last, acting the martyr. That is why I love what you say, Marvin, that everything we do connects us to our higher purpose. If that is true, then maybe we could be kinder to ourselves and give ourselves what we need and want so we can live our purpose more fully. It may take a little convincing that carrying guilt and shame connect us to our higher purpose, because I have noticed that when we let go of guilt and shame, we often move very fast in the direction of our purpose. It is as if a barrier to our happiness is removed when we allow ourselves to want what we want. Thanks. CK

Thanks for creating a beautiful blog. I have been a Reiki practitioner for roughly the last 18 years. When I first came to Reiki I did so because I was dealing with a health crisis. As I become more deeply involved with the practice certain realizations surfaced. It became increasingly clear to me that there is no such thing as a purely selfless act. Everything we do connects in some way to our higher purpose. Even when we seem to acting only for the benefit of others, such an act resonates with our own souls purpose. In that regard I believe that nothing that we do or say is completely without a Divine Purpose. Even things which seem to be entirely negative, perhaps even evil, might be seen to have a purpose which we can not immediately discern. Where there is not light, we see more clearly and treasure more dearly the flame of a single candle.
